Network Monitoring-as-a-Service

  • $450 per month per location

    Reactive Wide Area Network (WAN) network monitoring – Connection to the Internet

    o This service allows Smart Tech Networx to monitor the health of your WAN connection which includes the items below to be used for troubleshooting should an event occur for incident management

    ▪ Device Uptime

    ▪ Interface Utilization – How much of the interface is being used

    ▪ Interface bandwidth – How much of the interface is available

    ▪ Packet Loss – When something fails and services don’t work

    ▪ Network Packet Flows (NetFlow v9, IPFIX, etc.) – Monitors the flow of traffic to and from to identify who may be causing issues

    ▪ Historical views of all the above

    • Firmware updates for all Ubiquiti network devices hosted on Smart Tech Networx cloud controller

    • UPS Event monitoring – This requires the installation of a supported UPS by Smart Tech Networx

    o Monitors the health of the UPS for alerts that could lead to potential power related issues

    • UPS quarterly battery testing of supported UPS’

    o Remote Monitoring & Management (RMM)

    • RMM Services which provides for software and patch management, device application installation monitoring, device health monitoring, remote assistance services, and more.

    • $6.00 per endpoint

    o Sites local to Arizona we provide the following additional services

    • Network cable troubleshooting/replacement (Arizona customers only)

    • Network Performance Testing (yearly) – Test the performance of the network to ensure it is operating efficiently (Arizona customers only)

  • $650 per month per location

    The Business Plus bundle includes everything in the Business Essentials bundle plus the following services:

    • Proactive WAN network monitoring

    o We will monitor the health of the WAN and notify you of any periods where traffic utilization seems abnormally high, CPU/memory usage is high, etc. so the issue can be mitigated before it causes a problem

    • LAN network monitoring

    o This includes monitoring of all internal network devices such as servers, UPS’, access points, printers, etc.

    o Billable network devices include the following at $35/device

    ▪ Routers

    ▪ Switches, including Layer 3, VoIP switches, and switch stacks

    ▪ Firewalls

    ▪ Controllers

    o This service would also include the deployment of a polling collector on site. There are 3 options to choose from to deploy the collector (One Time Charge of $500 per physical collector deployment, $40 one time charge for per virtual machine collector deployment)

    ▪ Single collector deployment (No redundancy)

    ▪ Dual collector deployment (Primary and Secondary allows for maintenance to be performed on one while the other remains active or if one fails these can be physical or virtual collectors)

    ▪ Multi-site collector deployment (This can provide for primary, secondary, and even tertiary collectors to be deployed at multiple locations. To achieve this, it would require either a point-to-point connection or a multipoint-to-multipoint connection to be established between the sites through your ISP)

UniFi Cloud Controller Hosting

Allows for making modifications to Ubiquiti network devices remotely and eliminates the hassle of keeping the server patched and the controller software updated. The UniFi Cloud Controller hosting service can be purchased separately from our maintenance services if that is all that is required. We offer two different flavors depending on the needs of the business – fully managed and co-managed.

  • $200 per month up to 250 devices

    Fully Managed UniFi Cloud Controller hosting is a service provided by Smart Tech Networx where the controller is both hosted and managed solely by Smart Tech Networx. This option is perfect for small businesses that doesn’t have the expertise to manage the controller server and controller software or for configuring their network devices. For more than 250 devices please contact us for pricing.

  • $125 per month up to 250 devices

    Co-Managed UniFi Cloud Controller hosting service allows our clients to be able to assign an administrator to configure their network, but allows Smart Tech Networx to manage the server and the controller software updates to take the headache away from having to have IT staff manage your own controller.

Directory-as-a-Service (DaaS)

The Smart Tech Networx Cloud Connect Directory-as-a-Service (DaaS) platform allows for the integration of multiple identity management platforms into one single pane of glass. Multiple platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Amazon AWS, Workday, and even legacy on premise Active Directory controllers can all be incorporated into the platform to allow for Single Sign On (SSO), Multifactor Authentication (MFA), password management, patch management, device management, application management, etc. all from the cloud. The platform also gives access to multiple reporting capabilities as well. Device management is also made easier by being able to manage Windows, Mac, and Linux devices expanding on the legacy capabilities of Microsoft’s Active Directory. The greatest benefit is the DaaS service we provide is cloud based and not locked down to an on premise device which allows for client mobility regardless of where they are.

RADIUS-as-a-Service (RaaS)

Smart Tech Networx Cloud Connect RADIUS-as-a-Service (RaaS) offering provides our clients with a cloud RADIUS server that can be utilized for Wi-Fi networks and VPNs. Keeping the management hassle away from your IT staff Smart Tech Networx handles the setup and integration of RADIUS with your network. This allows users to sign on to Wi-Fi networks using their individual credentials instead of a pre-shared key which provides for additional security instead of having to change the Wi-Fi password when an employee’s access is revoked. MFA can also be enforced as part of the RADIUS policy as well.
