At Smart Tech Networx, we are committed to protecting the security of the information entrusted to us. We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect that information, including the measures described below. This Security Statement describes how we protect information; for details on what information we collect and how it is used and shared, please see our Privacy Policy.
Our Security Measures
Encryption. We encrypt sensitive data, such as account credentials, both in transit and at rest using industry-standard encryption. We do not collect or store payment card information on our website; payments are processed by our third-party accounting and payment provider, Wave (Wave Financial Inc.), and its payment processor.
Access control. We restrict access to information to authorized personnel on a need-to-know basis and use measures such as firewalls, network controls, and access-control lists to help prevent unauthorized access to our systems.
Monitoring and review. We review our systems and configurations and work to identify and address potential security vulnerabilities on an ongoing basis.
Security awareness training. We provide our personnel with security awareness training to help them recognize and avoid security threats such as phishing and social engineering.
How We Share Information
We share information only as described in our Privacy Policy — including with the service providers and partners who help us deliver our services, when required by law or legal process, and in connection with a business transfer. We do not sell your personal information. Please review our Privacy Policy for full details on the categories of information we collect, how we use it, and the circumstances in which it may be shared.
Client Data and Managed Services
Where we process data on behalf of a client as part of our managed services, our security and confidentiality obligations for that data are governed by the client’s signed services agreement and any applicable data processing addendum, which control over this general Security Statement. Many of our managed offerings incorporate the security capabilities of established third-party platforms (for example, PreVeil, JumpCloud, ThreatLocker, Huntress, and others), each of which maintains its own security program and commitments.
Reporting a Security Concern
If you have questions or concerns about our security practices, or wish to report a suspected vulnerability or security incident, please contact us at security@smarttechnetworx.com. For any questions or concerns related to abuse, please contact us at abuse@smarttechnetworx.com. For more information about how we handle personal information, see our Privacy Policy.
Changes to This Statement
We may update this Security Statement from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. We will post the updated statement on this page and revise the “Last Updated” date above.
